It has come a bit over a year too late but we are now seeing some traction in the UK media for the negative aspects of the Compact Fluorescent Ballast Integrated lamp. First there was an article in the Scotsman on the 20th of November and yesterday the BBC, formerly great advocates for the CFLi publish an article in their webzine outlining the majority of the issues we have been discussing for the last couple of years.
Had the gentle-persons of the press actually paid attention to our campaign last year we may have managed to get the European legislation properly reconsidered, however it is now too little, too late.
I don’t know how long the links above will work but I will try and put PDFs of the articles in the news clippings for future reference
